    yup

if you box like maidana does your going to have to get up off the canvas every few seconds.

Difference between the kotelnik, malignaggi, barrera fights etc for khan is that this will for the 1st time in his world level career test his abilities against an all out fighter who doesnt come with an instruction manual

if khan is still chinny then he may just need a small miracle to get out of this one. Sure his defence has improved miles since the prescott fight but he still is gonna occasionally take a thumping and he cant just revert to his old ways of skipping around and hoping it confuses his opponent

I dont no if I understand what you mean by that?

If your saying he is fighting a guy who is hard to train for because you don't no what to expect I think you are way out Maidana is basic and his style is easy to counter act for someone like Khan.

The only way Khan looses this if he gets reckless this will be an easy nights work for him against a very basic fighter.

    im saying the very opposite

he wont slip to many punches, doesnt switch hit, wont shoulder roll etc etc etc, there isnt a whole lot you can uncover from watching maidana other than he is your conventional old fashioned orthadox who just likes a good scrap
    one dangerous horrible bloke

I'm looking forward to this and Kat vs JMM more than any other fight this year. Even more than Haye vs Audley!

Maidana does get caught easy, but I'm not sure if he'll ever stay down. Khan needs to box his way to a win, if he looks for the knockout he'll get caught and Maidana does have power.

Maidana's chin isn't great but he recovers very quickly, like pacstraightleft said he's like jmm in that regard, it seems to be one of those that gets dented but not broken.

He has a decent chin. To me a dodgy chin would be a Wladimir Klitschko, Amir Khan type of chin.

All depends on how many lengths he does mate.

That post by ICB has to go down in forum history. Brilliant.

He has just moved from arm bands on both arms to the left one on it's own, he is training is going well and he is on course for his 25 metre badge by fight time, so I am slightly worried for Amir.
