IMO, he's the biggest low-life in boxing at the present time, and I hopes he does the right thing and quietly retires from boxing. In another thread, I remarked at the irony of it all: What Margarito tried to do to Mosley (and probably Cotto) by loading his gloves... Pacquiao may have just done to Margarito.... END his career. But without the plaster.
Also if you look at Cotto's position in all this there are a couple of things that could happen to make a rematch a bad situation for him #1 Miguel Cotto as much as I admire and respect the guy as a fighter is no longer as fresh as he used to be (no thanks to Margarito) and someone who is durable can beat him and I (am sure along with many of his fans) wouldn't want that person to be Margarito it would be salt in the wound #2 Margarito seeing how his career as a fighter is up against the ropes (or more like receiving a standing 8 count) is in a place where he could try something distgusting to avoid a beating....I'm not saying he would try to cheat again (though I'd never put it past him) but I'm thinking more along the lines of fouling in order to gain an advantage and win. Now he's never purposely done that before but he's at a nadir in his career and people can do stupid things when they are desperate especially when they want to avoid a beating...look at Cooney vs Holmes, look at Tyson vs Holyfield II, Tyson vs Botha, Bowe vs Tillery....I don't want Cotto to get put in position where Margarito can hurt him again....anyone but him, just my view as a fan.
