The disgreement is not whether there should be a drug test but that it's Manny's fault that there isn't one.
In the first negotiation ....... yes.
If Floyd's intention was really to clean up the sport, then Manny gets all the blame. But with what happened in the second negotiation, it appeared that it was just an excuse by Floyd to avoid Manny in which case I still put half the blame with Manny in that first negotiation. He should have called Floyd's bluff.
In the second negotiation ........... no.

That's only if your talking about pac vs floyd. And the reasons why that fight didn't happen. I'm not talking about that so much.
Pac could have demanded drug testing in all/any of his fights since the first floyd negotiation.
It would have been sensible to do that for a number of reasons.....
It would have made it look without a shadow of a doubt that floyd was ducking him
It would have shown whatever floyd can do manny can do better
It would have proven him clean
It would have made him look like a pioneering hero of the sport
It would have pissed off all his detractors no end.
The list could honestly go on.
If I'd been in pacs shoes that's what I'd have done.

It would have been amazing and add to his status if he did ths.
But not doing it should not make his accomplishments any less. It isn't his obligation to do this. None of the boxers now or before him has done it so why put it on Manny's shoulders? If someone else does it in the future, then he gets that admiration. I don't even think Floyd's actual intention with those blood test demand is to clean up the sport but I'm still waiting for him to prove me wrong.

It's not that it was placed on manny's shoulders. What I'm saying is he could have chosen to take it on and elvated himself further. He chose not to. That frustrated me.
