Um, HELLO? Jones had 20 pounds on each guy! Jones would likely have been carried out had he fought Foster, Spinks, Johnson or Ezzard.

Yeah right. Foster would look like percy harris in the ring with jones. Spinks would get kayoed. Johnson and Ezzard..... I laugh at that.

Remember back in 1968 when bob beamon took th elong jump record from 27 to 29 feet complete bypassing 28feet? When remember when LT came and made a quatum leap of the linebacker position?

That's prime RJJ to boxing. He's the Micheal Jordan of the sport. So fast that he could go his entire career without using a jab. Say that out loud a few times to get a understanding of just how incredible that is.

I think Jones best weight was super middle but after beating Toney there was little challenge left so he grew into the light heavyweight division. Whilst I do not think he was the greatest light heavy ever, I think he was the best boxer I have ever seen, better than Tyson, Whitaker, JCC, Mayweather, Tito, B Hop, Pac Man....

Aside from Toney, who he should get full credit for getting in his head, Jones did very little at 168. Some terrible showcase bouts due to revolving rankings, edit* and bs mandatories* once he got that record contract from HBO. He should have tested himself and demanded a Eubank-Benn-Nunn....yeh yeh I know but he was superman.

That's utter nonsense. Roy faced TWO top tier fighters in his heydey. TWO! Michael Jordan? LOL!!!!!!!!!

Only because old people keep passing down their opinions of who's great and who's not. I watched all of their fights and I saw nothing spectacular about hagler or hearnns, and don't get me started on the panamanian bum compactor. It's like what PBF said about gatti-ward. Just because you get a good fight out of two c+ fighters doesn't make them great. All those guys did was fight each other. I mean if they're the greatest on each others resume erase them from those resumes and who else do they have that's so great? I think its pretty clear that RJJ beat more top ranked and title holders than any of them. Which is more than beating guys who never had any alphabet trinket. People say Roy has a glass jaw because he was kayoed by men that walk around much larger than him, but duran was smashed by hearns and nothing about his glass jaw. And his heart? He fucking quit on the stool and wasn't taking damage just getting out foxed? And This guy is an all time great? GTFOH....

James Toney and BHOP would beat hagler, hearns, and duran. SRL stood the best chance because he was actually better than them all, but RJJ would have smashed his ass too p4p.

Lol no fucking way pound for pound Roy beats Leonard his chin wouldn't hold up. Now if were taking real life then be pretty fucking hard because Roy was a life time Lhw almost and Leonard was a welterweight.

Exactly what mean.... Roy was never hurt, and took very flush punches, (rare) but he did, when he was at 160-168. And p4p RJJ was faster and hit harder than leonard. Hell not even p4p in real life even being larger than SRL he was faster than him. Now a bigger man faster than the smaller man and with more power. p4p RJJ would kick the shit out of SRL.
