    I believe in love, but you're going to hurt yourself if you are not just a slight bit grounded in reality. With the internet, Skype, etc it's easier to stay in contact with one another than it ever has been...but that physical contact, being able to cook dinner for her (or vice versa), or just being there in person is a need that people have and it usually catches up with a relationship.

    I say, if you both really want it you can find a way to make it happen. Just know that the odds are against it.

    There's a reason most romantics are classified as "hopeless"...its a cruel world for their grandiose ideas

    Thats as sound as it gets Lyle.

    Also keep in mind bud that as much as you ask the question, so does she. As harsh as it is don't 'protect' each other if having doubts, it crushes those involved much worse in long run. The physical is key, have to have something-time to look forward too. Catch 22...you don't want it to become a second job and work...as opposed to what it should be and needs to be in the first place, easy going, day to day...doin life.
