Haye is not the favourite that is obvious. I DO think he will win, but Wlad is the established HW with size, height and reach advantages in this fight as well as experience. I just think Haye has all the right tools to win this fight, Wlad is very weak in the chin department and Haye is as explosive as they come, anyone who doesn't think Haye has the power to KO Wlad is just insane if you ask me. Also Haye has a clear advantage in hand and foot speed and is a lot looser in what he does than any of Wlads previous opponents. But for me the speed is the biggest factor and Haye has that advantage clearly.

Just seen Vitali saying Haye is too small for HW at 212lbs. Well I have news for him, Evander Holyfield at 212lbs in his prime would have beaten both Klits on the same night and he was a former CW moving up like Haye. I'm not saying Haye is Evander but to say a man who is that lean and weighs 212lbs is not a HW is stupid. Ali was lighter than that when he battered Liston and that version of Ali would have crucified both Klits at the same time never mind on the same night. Again I'm not saying Haye is any Muhammad Ali, what I am saying is I am agreeing with Adam that if Haye doesn't win it is because he is not good enough.

Well there will be no excuses from me unless something ridiculous happens. I never made excuses for Hatton either. I knew Floyd would school him. I must say I backed him against Pac because I still wasn't convinced he was big enough and I thought his success against Oscar was more due to Oscar cutting too much. I still think that to be honest but now I cannot deny that Pac belongs at 140 - 147. If he had fought Oscar at 154 then it might have been different. Anyway thats besides the point, I don't make excuses if he loses it's because he's not good enough.

You seem nervous all of a sudden to me Lyle. You should know that a puncher weighing 212lbs can KO anybody let alone a man who has had SERIOUS issues with his chin. Yet you think Haye is looking to go the distance?? He is looking for speed and I have a feeling he is going to go straight for the kill. When Wlad grabs he is going to bang him round the back of the head a few times and probably lose a point but it will make Wlad think twice and the second that happens with someone as fast as Haye you are fucked.

As for the weigh in itself I was proud to be British when I heard the crowds response to the fighters. That is what it will be like in the stadium too and that is a huge boost for Haye. It has made an away fight seem like a home fight.
