Celestino Caballero accepts the challenge of Jhonny Gonzalez

The Mexican Jhonny Gonzalez, former WBO bantamweight world champion, launched a challenge to WBA super bantamweight champion, Celestino "Pelenchin" Caballero, to defend his crown before him.

Faced with this challenge, "Pelenchin" he said in Panama that he will fight wherever and he's even willing to fight even within the Federal District of Mexico against Gonzalez.

"That's not a problem, I will give him
the opportunity he wanted" said "Pelenchin".

This will be a good fight... I pick Caballero to defeat J-Gonz...

I salute J-Gonz for calling out Caballero... Celestino "THE TOWERING INFERNO" Caballero is one of the most avoided boxers around...

Actually both J-Gonz and Caballero still has a fight to tackle.

J-Gonz vs. Mauricio Pastrana next weekend, May 16.

Caballero vs. Lorenzo Parra on June 7.

Caballero vs. J-Gonz is a battle of super bantam giants. Caballero 5'11" in height and 72" reach while J-Gonz 5'8" with 71" reach.

I think Caballero is going to stop Parra in their fight but he cant overlook him cause hes a still good fighter. That said, I think he beats him fairly easily. Gonzales is a bit tougher a fight but I think Caballero stops him too.
