Catbox Boxing: Fields vs. Thomas Saturday Night In OKC

This Saturday, March 19, 2011 sees No. 5 rated Eric “Danger” Fields (17-1, 14 KOs), 200 pounds, Ardmore, v. Chris “Cold Steel” Thomas (17-15, 14 KOs), Chicago, Illinois clash at the Cox Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

Fields is one of the most highly regarded fighters in the World with a knockout win over no. 1 rated Colombian cruiserweight Jose Luis Herrera at the Cox Center last December.

Catbox expects Fields to fight for the World Title this year. Fields opponent Thomas is a rugged 200 pounder who has fought many of the top cruiserweights, including a 12 round decision loss to No. 2 rated B.J. Flores (24-1, 15 KOs) in the NBA and WBF Cruiserweight Title fight. 8 rounds 200 pound Cruiserweights.

USA Oklahoma State Lightweight Champion Noah Zuhdi (13-1, 11 KOs), OKC v. Oswaldo Oscobedo (2-6, 2 KOs), LaPorte, Indiana by way of Mexico, has only been stopped once in his career with two KO wins.

Zuhdi is coming off an important and impressive six round decision win over Reuben Calderon at the COX Center last December. 8 rounds Lightweights.

Heavyweight Ron “The Iceman” Aubrey (10-2-1, 10 KOs), 310 pounds, with over 500 ice hockey fights, v. Gary Guffey (1-0, 1 KO).

Del Ray Raines (18-9, 13 KOs), middleweight, Paris, Arkansas, v. TBA, Travis Hoffman (0-4), Oklahoma City, Light Heavyweight 175 pounds v. TBA, Rebecca Miller, (1-1), England, now living in Oklahoma City, v. TBA 105 pounds.
