A hometown brew percolates this week on the New England Ringside Radio Network. Peter Manfredo, Jr. from The Contender and world-renowned trainer Freddie Roach are this Thursday evening's guests.
Ted Bodenrader, George Kimball, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills host Thursday night's two-hour (6-8 PM/ET) New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show. Manfredo (24-2, 10 KOs), known as "The Pride of Providence," will discuss his much-anticipated rematch against Sergio "The Snake" Mora (16-0, 3 KOs) in their October 15 main event on ESPN2 live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Mora defeated Manfredo in the championship final of The Contender reality television series.
Roach, born and raised in the Greater Boston suburb of Dedham, has been training Manfredo for this fight. Freddie will talk about Manfredo, as well as the other fighters in his growing stable.
