Sanchez vs. Torrez Jr. Tops Fundora-Thurman PPV Undercard

Sanchez and Torrez battle in a IBF Heavyweight Title Eliminator, topping the Fundora-Thurman PBC PPV undercard Saturday, March 28 live from Las Vegas.

Three high-stakes showdowns featuring a fight with heavyweight title implications, a top-ranked middleweight and a rising star debuting at super middleweight will round out the four-fight PBC Pay-Per-View event available on Prime Video on Saturday, March 28 as WBC Super Welterweight World Champion Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora battles former unified champion Keith “One Time” Thurman in the main event from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and will feature top heavyweight contender Frank “The Cuban Flash” Sanchez taking on unbeaten U.S. Olympic Silver Medalist Richard Torrez Jr. in an IBF Heavyweight Title Final Eliminator that serves as the co-main event.

The lineup will also feature undefeated top-rated middleweight Yoenli Hernandez stepping in against battle-tested U.S. Olympian Terrell Gausha in a 10-round bout, plus exciting young star Elijah Garcia faces veteran super middleweight contender Kevin Newman II in the 10-round pay-per-view opener.

Tickets for the live event are on sale now through AXS.com.

In addition to being available for purchase on Prime Video, regardless of Prime membership, fans will also be able to continue to access the telecast through traditional cable and satellite outlets as well as PPV.com.

The event is promoted by TGB Promotions and Sampson Boxing.

“Saturday, March 28 will now feature three more exciting pay-per-view undercard matchups that feature young stars and top contenders going toe-to-toe, with the winners putting themselves in position for world title glory,” said Tom Brown, President of TGB Promotions. “Frank Sanchez has long established himself as a threat to anyone at heavyweight and can re-stake his place toward the top of the division against an undefeated U.S. Olympian in Richard Torrez Jr. Plus sensational Cuban middleweight Yoenli Hernandez takes on his most experienced opponent to date in the always dangerous Terrell Gausha, and Elijah Garcia hopes to make a statement at 168-pounds against the highly-skilled Kevin Newman II rounding out this PBC Pay-Per-View event on Prime Video.”

**FRANK SANCHEZ VS. RICHARD TORREZ JR.**

In an IBF Heavyweight World Title Eliminator, top contender and Cuban standout Frank “The Cuban Flash” Sanchez will take on undefeated U.S. Olympic Silver Medalist Richard Torrez Jr. in a high-stakes crossroad matchup with heavyweight championship implications. Sanchez vs. Torrez is promoted in association with Top Rank.

Born in Guantanamo, Cuba and now fighting out of Miami, Sanchez (25-1, 18 KOs) can put himself back into the world title mix with a victory on March 28. The 33-year-old worked his way up the rankings while winning his first 24 bouts, including a dominant unanimous decision over the then unbeaten Efe Ajagba in October 2021 that cemented his contender status. Sanchez challenged another undefeated foe in May 2024 as he went up against Agit Kabayel, eventually losing the bout in round seven after suffering a knee injury early in the fight. Recovered from the injury, Sanchez returned to the ring last February with a TKO of Ramon Olivas Echeverria.

“A victory on March 28 moves me one step closer to being the IBF’s mandatory challenger and realizing my dream of becoming the first Cuban heavyweight champion of the world,” said Sanchez. “Torrez is a strong fighter who’s hungry to prove himself, but I will win this fight in grand fashion for my great Cuban and Latino fans.”

The 26-year-old Torrez (14-0, 12 KOs) has been perfect as a pro following a sensational amateur career that was capped by earning an Olympic silver medal, and which also featured triumphs over Jared Anderson and Dainier Pero. A native of Tulare, California, Torrez has steadily increased his competition as a pro, with his first notable triumph coming over the then undefeated Brandon Moore via fifth-round TKO in May 2024. After adding wins in 2024 over Joey Dawejko and Isaac Munoc Gutierrez, Torrez defeated another notable name last April as he bested Guido Vianello by unanimous decision. Most recently, Torrez earned a first-round stoppage of Tomas Salek last November.

“Frank is skilled, technical and dangerous, and that’s exactly the kind of challenge I’ve been looking for,” said Torrez. “Great fighters don’t avoid tests; they run toward them. I’ve prepared for every moment of this fight, and when the bell rings, I’m coming to take over.”

    **YOENLI HERNANDEZ VS. TERRELL GAUSHA**

In a 10-round middleweight attraction, one of the 160-pound division’s fastest-rising stars Yoenli Hernandez will put his unbeaten record on the line against his toughest opponent to date, the dangerous U.S. Olympian Terrell Gausha, with the winner in prime position to challenge for middleweight gold.

Ranked number one by the WBA, number two by the WBC and number three by the WBO, Hernandez (9-0, 8 KOs) is yet another in a long line of sensational amateur fighters to come from the Cuban program, with his long resume before turning pro featuring a 2021 gold medal at AIBA World Boxing Championships. Originally from Camaguey, Cuba and now fighting out of Providence, Rhode Island, Hernandez turned pro in May 2022 with a pair of stoppage victories and continued to dominate his competition as he rose up the rankings. The 28-year-old returned in 2024 with four U.S. fights, including a stoppage of the veteran contender Alejandro Barrera in June and a TKO over the previously unbeaten Bryce Henry in October. Hernandez added three more victories in 2025, including a shutout unanimous decision over top contender Kyrone Davis on Prime Video last May.

“I’m extremely grateful for another opportunity to showcase my talents,” said Hernandez. “But let’s be real, not everyone has the heart to step in there with me. Respect to the one who will on March 28. I’m locked in, staying sharp and I’m coming to make a statement. No shortcuts, no excuses, just pressure. Stay tuned.”

A member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic team, Gausha (24-5-1, 12 KOs) was born in Cleveland, Ohio but now fights out of Encino, California and is trained by the renowned Manny Robles. Gausha bounced back from an unsuccessful title challenge of WBC Middleweight World Champion Carlos Adames in 2024 to drop Elijah Garcia in their 2025 showdown, eventually coming up on the short end of a narrow split decision. Prior to facing Adames, Gausha had won back-to-back bouts as he knocked out Brandyn Lynch in March 2023 before winning a decision over KeAndrae Leatherwood in September of that year. Gausha has faced top competition throughout his career, having fought former champion Austin Trout to a draw in 2019 in addition to decision losses against WBA Middleweight World Champion Erislandy Lara, former world champion Tim Tszyu and top contender Erickson Lubin.

“I’m a true professional who’s always training, because boxing is what I do,” said Gausha. “I’ve seen Yoenli fight and he’s a young, strong, skilled fighter. If you’ve watched my fights in the past, you’ll know that’s what I like. I want to test myself against the best. Beating him will get me close to my goal of becoming world champion. That’s what I’m here for.”

**ELIJAH GARCIA VS. KEVIN NEWMAN II**

Opening up the pay-per-view, 22-year-old rising star Elijah Garcia will make his debut at the full super middleweight limit as he takes on streaking battle-test veteran Kevin Newman II, who enters this 10-round fight on a seven-bout winning streak.

Fighting out of Phoenix, Arizona, García (17-1, 13 KOs) most recently rose from the canvas to take home a split-decision against Terrell Gausha last March, getting back in the win column after coming up short on the cards against Kyrone Davis in June 2024. Garcia had previously burst onto the scene as a teenager by earning three impressive victories in 2023. He kicked off that memorable campaign in March with a knockout of the previously unbeaten Amilcar Vidal and followed that up with a pair of performances on the undercards of two of the biggest events of the year. He first defeated Kevin Salgado on the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia pay-per-view in April before knocking out current super middleweight champion Armando Resendiz on the Canelo Alvarez vs. Jermell Charlo pay-per-view in September.

“I’m excited to kick off this pay-per-view on March 28,” said Garcia. “I’m working hard and can’t wait to show everything we’ve been working on in camp. This is a big opportunity to make a statement at super middleweight and I’m gonna make the most of it.”

Originally from Los Angeles and now fighting out of Las Vegas, Newman (18-3-1, 11 KOs) has put together seven consecutive victories dating back to 2021. This run includes two 2025 triumphs that saw him beat Alan Campa by unanimous decision last March before most recently defeating Malcolm Jones by seventh-round stoppage last July. The 34-year-old put together this run after a pair of close decision defeats to Genc Plllana and Manuel Gallegos. Newman’s first blemish came via a decision loss to Marcos Hernandez, which he later avenged in near shutout fashion. Newman turned pro in 2014, reeling off seven-straight wins after a split-draw in his pro debut.

“I want to thank everyone who made this opportunity possible,” said Newman. “I’m looking forward to getting into the ring on March 28 and showcasing my skills. I’m coming to put on a dominant performance from start to finish.”

  • SMALLS VS RAMOS TOPS STACKED UNDERCARD FOR NAVARRETE-NUNEZ BLOCKBUSTER IN GLENDALE Philly talent faces Arizona’s two-time World title challenger on Feb 28

SMALLS VS RAMOS TOPS STACKED UNDERCARD FOR NAVARRETE-NUNEZ BLOCKBUSTER IN GLENDALE Philly talent faces Arizona’s two-time World title challenger on Feb 28

Smalls (16-0 11 KOs) claimed the title in his last outing on home turf in Philadelphia, dropping Jose Roman Vazquez twice over ten rounds to pick up his first belt and biggest win to date.

‘Boots’ Ennis’ stablemate now steps up once again, and this time he’s entering the Lion’s Den to take on Phoenix’s Ramos (28-6-3 22 KOs) in another step-up showdown. Ramos returns to the ring after a grueling World title battle with WBC champion Mario Barrios in Texas in November, missing out on becoming a World ruler with their tussle ending in a draw.

Ramos will be eager to get back into position for a third shot at a World title, having faced Yordenis Ugas for the WBA strap in September 2020, and for Smalls, the showdown gives the 26 year old the chance to further stake his claim for more big fights at 147lbs – a must-win night for both fighters in the desert.

“2026 is my year,” said Smalls. “I am coming for everybody that is in my way to becoming World champion in the division, and that starts with Abel Ramos on February 28.”

“Devin Haney, Mario Barrios, Rolly Romero and Lewis Crocker – I am calling out all of you. I am taking over the Welterweight division and there is nothing stopping me. On February 28, Abel Ramos – it’s belt to ass. Statement time.”

“I am excited to be back in the ring,” said Ramos. “It’s going to be an action-packed fight card, and I am ready to put on a show for all my people here in Phoenix.”

Elsewhere on a stacked card in Arizona, Arturo Cardenas defends his WBC Continental Americas Super-Bantamweight title against Jordan Martinez. Mexican Cardenas (17-0-1 9 KOs) puts the title on the line for the fourth time after a successful third defense in Stockton, California in December, and does so against unbeaten Arizonan Martinez (16-0 15 KOs) who will be hungry to claim the biggest win of his career and rip Cardenas’ title away.

“A big thank you to my team at RGBA and Matchroom for the opportunity to perform on such a great card between two Mexican warriors,” said Cardenas. “On February 28, I am looking forward to putting on an exciting fight for the fans there in Arizona and continuing my climb to a World title.”

“Quiero Gerra! (I want war) Quiero Sangre! (I want blood),” said Martinez. “Arturo is making a big mistake in taking this fight. This is the opportunity I have been waiting for, asking for, and now it’s finally here. This is my city. This is my time. February 28, don’t blink.”

A third title fight on the card sees Emiliano Vargas continue his rise in the paid ranks, defending his WBO Latino and WBC NABF Super-Lightweight titles against Agustin Quintana. Vargas (16-0 13 KOs) claimed the vacant WBO Latino title in Mexico in November with a landslide points win, and the Las Vegas starlet will be aiming to kick 2026 off in style in Arizona against Quintana (22-2-1 13 KOs), the experienced Argentinian on a four-fight winning streak which included him handing Marc Castro a first defeat in December 2024.

“The fans in Arizona have always supported my family, and I can’t wait to put on a show for them February 28,” said Vargas. “This is a great card headlined by two Mexican warriors, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

There’s more local flavor on the card in the shape of unbeaten Super-Lightweight Trini Ochoa (21-0 9 KOs), while unbeaten Texan Super-Welterweight Hector Beltran Jr (6-0 5 KOs) and unbeaten Las Vegas pair Rahman Muhammad (1-0 1 KOs) and Phillip Vela (4-0 2 KOs) all taste action and will be matched in due course.

  • World Title Double-Header Tops Monte-Carlo Return On Dec 14

World Title Double-Header Tops Monte-Carlo Return On Dec 14

A thrilling World Title double-header will top the latest instalment of the Monte-Carlo Showdown at Salle Des Étoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo on Saturday December 14, shown live worldwide on DAZN.

Uzbekistan’s former IBF and WBA Super-Bantamweight World Champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev (12-1, 9 KOs) attempts to become a two-time World Champion when he takes on Mexican knockout artist Ricardo Espinoza Franco (30-4, 25 KOs) for the interim WBA Super-Bantamweight World Title.

‘MJ’ made three defences of the IBF and WBA World Titles he landed against Daniel Roman in Miami in January 2020 before losing them in a split decision points loss to Marlon Tapales on the undercard of Jesse Rodriguez vs. Cristian Gonzalez at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas last year.

Brazilian amateur star turned 5-0 professional Beatriz Ferreira makes the first defence of her IBF Lightweight World Title against France’s former European Champion Licia Boudersa (23-2-2, 4 KOs) after capturing the vacant crown against Yanina del Carmen Lescano in Liverpool earlier this year.

‘The Beast’, a former amateur World Champion, won silver at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games before putting pen to paper on a long-term promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing in 2022. The 31-year-old attempted to go one better by winning gold in Paris this summer but ultimately fell short to eventual champion Kellie Harrington in the semi-final.

British Cruiserweight Champion Chev Clarke (10-0, 7 KOs) looks to build on his successful American debut last time out in August when he clashes with unbeaten Frenchman Leonardo Mosquea (15-0, 9 KOs) for the vacant EBU European Cruiserweight Title in what will be his biggest test to date.

Big hitting ‘C4’ looks to end a breakout 2024 on a high after stopping Belfast’s former European ruler Tommy McCarthy at Ulster Hall back in January, taking out Ellis Zorro in eight rounds to claim the famous Lord Lonsdale Challenge Belt at the First Direct Arena in Leeds in May and decisioning Efetobor Apochi over ten hard rounds in Los Angeles in August.

Irish Lightweight contender Gary Cully (18-1, 10 KOs) puts his WBA Continental Title on the line against Rossington’s Maxi Hughes (27-7-2, 6 KOs) in an intriguing Ireland vs. England match-up. ‘The Diva’ outpointed Belgium’s former European Champion Francesco Patera in Leeds last time out in May while ‘Maximus’ earned an impressive stoppage win over Efstathios Antonas in Sheffield last month.

“I’m very excited to be back in the ring and making the first defence of my World Title in Monte-Carlo,” said Ferreira. “I am very proud to have finished my Olympic journey as a two-time medallist but from now on my focus is 100% on the professionals and I am excited about this next phase in my career and dedicating myself fully to professional boxing.

“My opponent is very experienced and has won many titles in the past so I’m looking forward to the challenge and then I hope to move into big unification fights and add more World Titles in 2025.”

“I’m happy to be going back to work,” said Akhmadaliev. “It looks like that p4p star is not ready for big challenges. He can continue running away, but I will get what should be mine anyway. ‘M’J in business again and December will be hot!”

“I can’t wait to return to breathtaking Monte-Carlo for a magnificent night of World Championship boxing on December 14,” said Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn. “Two thrilling World Title clashes, a European Title showdown between two hungry undefeated contenders and a big Ireland vs. England match-up – Monte-Carlo Showdown V has something for everyone! Catch all of the action live worldwide on DAZN.”

“Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer has been the essential partner of the Principality of Monaco greatest sports events for over a century,” said Albert Manzone. “We are delighted to welcoming the 2024 edition of the Monte-Carlo Showdown, presented by the Casino de Monte-Carlo, at the Sporting Monte-Carlo, in the prestigious Salle des Etoiles room.”

  • Magsayo-Vargas Tops All-Action Showtime Triple-Header

    Magsayo-Vargas Tops All-Action Showtime Triple-Header

Fight fans are in for a treat on Saturday night as Premier Boxing Champions presents an explosive triple-header, with a main event featuring Mark Magsayo defending his WBC World Featherweight Title against former champion Rey Vargas in a battle between two hungry, undefeated warriors.

On Saturday, July 9, live on SHOWTIME from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, Premier Boxing Champions presents a triple-header full of action and intrigue.

Headlining the card, WBC World Featherweight Champion Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo makes the first defense of the title won from Gary Russell Jr. back in January. He’ll be taking on former WBC world super bantamweight champion Rey Vargas in a battle of unbeatens.

The SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® telecast (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT) will also feature all-action former world champion Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa making his 126-pound debut against smooth-boxing Mexican battler Carlos Castro in a co-main event WBC featherweight title eliminator. Opening the telecast, undefeated lightweight contender Frank Martin battles late replacement Jackson Marinez in a 10-round clash of styles. Martin’s original opponent, Ricardo Nuñez of Panama, was forced to withdraw from the bout due to visa-related issues.

Additional undercard action will be streamed live on the SHOWTIME SPORTS YouTube channel beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. In the pair of featured contests, undefeated welterweight contender Rashidi Ellis makes his much-anticipated return against Jose Marrufo in a 10-round bout and San Antonio hometown favorite Ramon Cardenas faces Venezuela’s Michell Banquez in a 10-round bantamweight battle.

Mark Magsayo (24-0, 16 KOs) vs. Rey Vargas (35-0, 22 KOs)

In his last fight, Magsayo, who hails from Pasig City, Metro Manila, The Philippines, upset long-time world champ Gary Russell Jr. to become the WBC World Featherweight Champion. This upcoming first defense of that title at the Alamodome in San Antonio also carries significant meaning for the 27-year-old, bringing him back to his first exposure to the icon who would become his hero and, later, his promoter.

“I’m excited to be fighting in the same venue where my idol Manny Pacquiao fought Marco Antonio Barrera,” Magsayo said. “That was the first fight I ever saw and the reason I started boxing.”

Against Russell, Magsayo showcased every tool and ability that placed him in the top contender spot.

Quick, explosive, and aggressive by nature, his high-energy ring approach is being tempered with increased patience and a better sense of timing under the guidance of trainer Freddie Roach. His best offensive weapon is still a sharp right hand, although everything he throws is quick and registers impact.

The 31-year-old Vargas is a former WBC world super bantamweight champion who won his title and defended it five times before moving up to featherweight.

Tall and long for his weight class at just a touch above 5-foot-10, the Mexico City native is most effective when using his edge in size and reach to his advantage.

Trained by legendary Mexican trainer Ignacio “Nacho” Beristain, Vargas likes to let his hands go and is best when able to fight at arm’s length. Still, however, he’s very effective to the body and does well when fighting on the inside. His jab is somewhat underutilized, but it has the potential to be a fight-controlling weapon.

Despite being clearly well-schooled, he does have some defensive liabilities and gets hit flush too often.

Led into battle by their respective Hall of Fame trainers, Magsayo vs. Vargas is a fitting chapter in boxing’s storied Philippines-Mexico rivalry and it should make for a competitive, entertaining matchup.

Brandon Figueroa (22-1-1, 17 KOs) vs. Carlos Castro (27-1, 12 KOs)

The all-action Figueroa is coming off a close majority decision loss to Stephen Fulton Jr. in a Fight of the Year-caliber 122-pound title unification war last November. Still just 25, he’s making his move up to 126-pounds now and jumping straight into a WBC featherweight title eliminator.

A native of Weslaco, Texas and younger brother of former world champ Omar Figueroa Jr., “The Heartbreaker” is aggressive by nature, preferring to take the battle inside on an opponent despite having the tall, lanky frame to box effectively from a distance. Delivering punches in bunches, Figueroa gets good leverage on everything he throws and works the body well.

Castro, a native of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico, who came to live in Phoenix, Arizona as a child, is an all-around solid fighter who, in his last bout, dropped a close split decision at the 122-pound limit to former world champ Luis Nery.

The Nery loss snapped an undefeated run that featured high-water mark victories over Oscar Escandon and Cesar Juarez.

The 28-year-old, like Figueroa, is tall and lanky for his weight class although he prefers boxing from the outside. His best offensive weapon is probably a sharp right hand, but he also sports a good jab and a solid left hook.

This WBC featherweight title eliminator is a chance for both fighters to rebound from tough losses and gain immediate access to the elite of the 126-pound class.

Frank Martin (15-0, 11 KOs) vs. Jackson Marinez (19-2, 7 KOs)

The Derrick James-trained Martin is a spark plug of a fighter whose speed and athleticism make him an explosive ring presence.

The 27-year-old southpaw from Indianapolis, Indiana has scored five stoppage victories in his last six contests and, most recently, tore through the talented Romero Duno en route to a fourth-round TKO victory.

A former national amateur champion, Martin is considered one of the top rising stars in an already-packed lightweight division.

Late replacement Marinez should actually be a stiffer stylistic challenge for Martin than his original opponent, the more one-dimensional Ricardo Nuñez.

The Dominican Republic’s Marinez has legitimate high-end skills, augmented by quick hands and quick feet, and is significantly better than his recent 0-2 run suggests. Many people still feel he deserved the decision over Rolando “Rolly” Romero in their 2020 contest. In his last bout, against Richard Commey in 2021, he gave a good account of himself until he eventually fell under the might of the Ghanaian’s heavy right hand.

The mix of Martin’s come-forward, explosive style and Marinez’s quick-fisted skill should make for a compelling contest—kicking off what should be an explosive night.

  • DAVIES TOPS IN TELFORD | Frank Warren

DAVIES TOPS IN TELFORD | Frank Warren

LIAM DAVIES IS the new British super bantamweight champion following victory over Marc Leach in his home town, becoming Telford’s first British champion.

In what was a first defence for Leach, who took the vacant title by defeating the previously unbeaten Chris Bourke, he found himself on the canvas courtesy of a big right hand just one minute into the fight.

Against this, a full facial collision left Davies with a nasty gash at the top of his nose.

The confident Davies had the upper hand across the majority of the first two thirds of the fight and always seemed to have the power to trouble the champion. However, Leach did rally and came back into it as the fight closed in on the championship rounds.

Davies, now 12-0, safely saw it through to a unanimous decision of 116-113, 115-113 and 118-111.

Ijaz Ahmed and Kaisy Khademi had yet another close encounter that was scored a majority draw on the cards. The British super flyweight title remains on the market.

Both fighters were genuinely convinced they had won and both of them insisted afterwards that there would not be a fourth fight between them and they would move on.

Birmingham’s Ahmed made all the running with the Londoner keeping his distance and attempting to pick off his rival. Referee Michael Alexander docked Khademi a point in the ninth round for repeatedly offending at keeping hold of his opponent.

The scorecards read 115-112 IA 114-113 KK and 114-114. These two will need extra time and penalties if they do, ultimately, decide to play it again.

Eithan James didn’t get the big title fight he was banking on due to the withdrawal of Connor Parker, but he got a good eight rounds of work under his belt with a comfortable victory over Lee Connolly. The super lightweight starlet from Northampton wowed his considerable support with a 80-72 win on the card of referee Kevin Parker and is now 9-0 on his pro record.

Liverpool lightweight Callum Thompson continued his professional rise with a comprehensive defeat of the tough Jordan Ellison. The 23-year-old is proving himself a prospect of great promise with great shot selection and referee Shaun Messer scored it a 40-36 shutout despite Ellison becoming busier in the fourth. Thompson moves to 4-0.

Super welterweight Amaar Akbar slipped through the gears to outwit the Senegal southpaw Matar Sambou over four rounds. Referee Shaun Messer scored the fight 40-36 in favour of the Batley favourite who was roared on by a bumper contingent from his hometown.

Crumlin lightweight Willo Hayden continued to impress with an opportunity to shine in front of the cameras and the 20-year-old eased his way past the threat of Engel Gomez to make it 4-0 on his pro record.

Hayden didn’t have it all his own way against the game Gomoz but it was he who delivered the classy work and the telling shots, resulting in a 40-36 shutout on the card of referee Kevin Parker.

In the earlier fights not part of the BT Sport broadcast, Willy Hutchinson announced himself as back in business with a stoppage victory over Karel Horejsek. The Czech didn’t emerge for the fourth round and Hutchinson took his record to 14-1 in rejoining the light heavyweight ranks.

Bantamweight Raheem Muhammad doubled his win tally and made it two wins from two as he found his way past Steve Jackson. The Telford man was triumphant by a margin of 59-56 on the scorecard.

Muhammad Ali moved himself to 4-0 as a pro with a dominant display over Brayan Mairena in a super featherweight six-rounder. The 2016 Olympian from Bury won by 59-56.

Light heavyweight Ezra Taylor extended his record to 3-0 by overwhelming the Bulgarian Veselin Vasilev with a third round stoppage. The 27-year-old from Nottingham now has two KOs from his three professional fights.

Destructive welterweight George Bance opened the evening with a typically robust performance to overcome Richard Helm over six rounds. The 19-year-old from Atherstone is now 4-0 with his 59-57 victory.
