I have said that Savile was wrong. I seem to preface every post with that. He shouldn't have been anywhere near underage girls. However, at the same time what were underage girls doing with him? All of them get abused and don't say a thing because he does charity work? Pretty much all of them? As I say, if you are doing it well into your 20's then something is amiss. What is ridiculous about stating that many girls of 15 are sexually knowing, active, aware and furthermore will often seek an older man. Like I have said before, there is a big difference between a 'kid' of 7 and a bra wearing teenager. In the former instance I would always view it a the most reprehensible of behaviour. Miles in most of these situations including priests fucking little boys which is the same thing, the victims are made to feel it is partially their doing and feel guilt about it so they hide it for years and suffer in silence. Sometimes its only when others come out and talk in a similar situation and get treated fairly, they feel they can get it off their chest as well.

I know of a case of a woman who was sexually assaulted/raped as a kid, it went on for YEARS. The guy was a friend of her mum, he lived next door. It only became public when she was in her late 20's and started to show signs of distress at work and it all came out. Abuse becomes normalised.

I can give you as many examples as you like. It's another subject you know little about.

It's easy for people to sit back and say 'well I would have done this', you don't know. It's not happened to you.

I really didn't detect any ranting in my writing. You don't like my stance and therefore find solace in handing out insults.

A 15 year old who bangs an older man and continues doing so for several years is a sexually aware, thinking human being. She could have done something about it, but did nothing. She needs to take some responsibility for saying nothing. It is lame to be coming out only after a man is dead. Savile was an old man for years, this could have come out much sooner and with justice being carried out. It doesn't really do anything now.

You really are an odd Mod to be asking long term posters to get cancer or leave just because they approach something from a different POV. It isn't the first time you have made it personal. It is a fact that many places accept teenage sexual relations of 13 and up. It is seemingly a fact that Savile liked to be involved with girls typically of around 15 years of age. It is also a fact that many girls of this age are sexually active, putting on makeup and wanting to boast with their friends of what they can do. It is not a fact that Savile raped anyone, nor molested brain damaged people. That will need to be proven and unfortunately as it probably can't, then it shall never be a fact.

Thus I believe there is truth to it all, Savile was in the wrong, but probably not always. You don't hang a man based on an ITV 'documentary'. I am using logic to see that our societies sexualise children young and yet have an age of consent of 16. It isn't so mad that people have had sex with underage girls because there of numerous examples of those who have. I see John Peel is the latest 'pervert'. Savile was likely far more obvious, but I don't really consider Peel as all that in the wrong at all.

I agree, but I think some are exaggerating their claims and some are just in it for the buzz. The fact that the NHS and BBC must now be sued makes me think there is more than truth behind it all. Humans are a deceptive sort, never put anything past them.

For anyone who was genuinely abused then I have pity, but I think a lot of this is highly questionable and rightly so as nothing has been proven in a court of law.

Yeah of course there will always be jump ins and other fuckwits, put an unsolved murder up in any large City and you'll get a few nuts putting their hands up for it.

I've said I have doubts about many of the accusations. You seem to believe them point blank. You don't just take somebodies word on something, humans are exceptionally fallible and manipulative. Thus you investigate with diligence and weed out the rot.
