Cotto has a tremendous record and his wins look even more impressive when those guys(Torres/Paulie/Quintana) go on to become world champs after Cotto destroyed them.

To say his career has been expertly handled is rather pathetic. Lots of people chose Cotto to lose to Mosley,Paulie and Quintana. And his resume is similar to Mayweather's at 140 and better than Mayweather's at 147, so saying things like that don't really have any basis on fact.

Yeah,he hasn't dethroned a RING champ yet,but at 140 that was Hatton and that fight never came to fruition and 147,Mayweather,we all know the score there,,Floyd has shown no interest(so far) in fighting legit WW.I mean I saw Zab being called a journeymen but that's the best "Legit" ww on Floyd's record so......?

The fact that Cotto is young and has a unification title match possible later this year with the Tony v Cintron winner will jsut raise his status further and re-iterate the point that he has the best resume at 147 BY FAR in comparison to the RING champ Floyd.
