I don't recall posting at all on the RBR during the fight. I was too busy actually watching it. I posted prior to it starting and afterwards, not at all while the fight was actually happening though. Just because I did not jump into the RBR does not mean I didn't think it should have been stopped. Personally, I would have had it stopped in the second and definitely the doctor should have disallowed Marco to continue in the fourth.
Many believed it's Marco's warrior attitude that prevented him from saying "I can't see anymore" or "I'm having headache"... Just last week, many also labeled Robert Guerrero a quitter for pulling out from his fight with Yordan in the 2nd round after he suffered a cut that resulted the fight as a no contest (NC)... Would you be upset if Barrera quit after the 1st round?? Would you call him a quitter??
.
I would have been dissapointed for the fight to end like that, but that is the worst cut I have seen in recent memory. If Barrera immediately agreed to a rematch upon the fight being declared a NC then Barrera wouldn't be labelled a quitter. I recall the Guerrero cut being less serious than this was.
Barrera is too much of a warrior and his corner should have been forcing him to stop. Mistakes were made out there, and Khan now has the scalp of MAB on his record because of it.
