Sooty was indeed a tit but I just liked Sweep's attitude - he was more stand-offish, aloof, and he wasn't out to impress anybody. Sooty was a public-school type.

As already mentioned the geezer of puppets is zippy. I always used to think as a small child that zippy was the sort of fella who once the show had finished and they`d all been tucked in he`d head off to his local pub on his way stopping in the bookies to see what was occuring

Zippy was good, thats true, but I think he was more into his drugs. He seems the type that did his fair share of acid but has left it behind now, but the impact it had remained. Bungle was a cross-dresser.
