I guess Fatton will be comfy at heavyweight right now.

He was a smallish lightwelter weight and even smaller welterweight. His strength won't be much of a factor at 147, making him a bit of an unfortunate infighter.

I definitely wouldn't say he was a small light welter. He almost looked drained at times at 140. Those cold sore outbreaks he used to get on weigh in days are a sure sign of his lowered immune system..possibly due to weight drain?

LOL@ this guy! The triumph of sugar over diabetes.

Can we have another 'yo moma' quip althugz?

Collazo beat hatton. Please post your scorecard because collazo winning 6 rounds would still be a hatton win due to the KD! Please don't tell me hatton won 5 rounds! LOL.

Collazo wasn't robbed. He lost a close fight. He should look no further than his bout against Jose Antonio Rivera, in which Collazo won the belt in the first place. How did he do it? On a split decision in an even closer fight than hatton! Hatton deserves props for a great fight, against a top fighter on american soil @ 147!

'Althugz' does what it says on the tin!

True but he was never physical big at the weight come fight night. Case in point - Castillo who was a monster at135 was a lot bigger than Hatton come fight night. Hatton is not a physically awesome guy at 140 and looked deminutive against even Floyd Mayweather at 147.
If Hatton had of fought Katsidids, I doubt there'd of been much if anything between them.

Castillo was not bigger then Hatton on fight night. That is a crock. And Floyd Mayweather walks around within 5 pounds of his weigh in and he fights at that weight. Hatton looked gaunt at 147.
This notion that Hatton was the shrimp of the division is ridiculous.

I'm so glad I have to waste such little time proving what a bellend you are when you do it so easily yourself..

Read my reply to Fenster..I said that I thought Hatton won the fight contrary to popular belief of the forum? :/ I only ever said he struggled.

Hatton struggled at 147 because he fought two fighters who were technically better, had faster hands and threw punches in combinations. If he'd have fought those same guys at 140 he would have encountered the same problems because he has basic defensive flaws that have been glossed over by fighting 35 or so spoon fed opponents. Warren kept him away from that kind of fighter because he knows what he's doing.

Your original post: "He fought Luis Collazo and Floyd Mayweather, two fighters who probably would have beaten him at 140 as well!" That implies u thought hatton lost! Another thinly veiled 'althugz' attempt at doing down fighter's he pretend's to admire...U should be a little less vague in your original posts and not expect ppl to waste there time on your response's to other posters! @ 140 it would have been easier for hatton vs collazo btw!

Let's be honest though, any credibility u had went out of the window the moment u brought my mother into a debate! I mean a 'yo moma' quip...really?? How old are you! It is clear to me now that i obviously got under your skin on a previous thread and u being a sensitive little pincushion have decided to pursue a vendetta against a few words on a computer screen! Tragic! LOL. This is just a boxing forum cupcake, who are u trying to impress? Do u feel tougher calling ppl 'bellends' on the internet? It's not my fault u have a tiny penis (When in rome folks!) and have to compensate for that with excessive creatine usage and by lifting things Up n Down...Up n Down...All day long! Self masturbation mate, u heard of it??

I was curious as to why a grown man would cake his entire body in max factor's latest range of blusher that's all! It was a reasonable question considering u feel the need to post the end result in your avatar. Do u want to be black or something? Anyway i apologise for any offense caused and i hope u find some 16 yr old u can have your internet fight with! Hope we can start again ....

Yet Floyd looked bigger than him come fight night. That's my point. Not how they walk around prior. What use is that? And in regards to Castillo... I'll prove it later tonight.

    Stay tuned.

OK let's say the word "comfortable" doesn't apply I'll just use the word "effective". Ricky Hatton was never "effective" at 147......are you happy now?

I'm always happy Lyle - Would he have been more "effective" against Floyd or Collazo at 140? I personally don't think so. If so, how? Floyd was even more of a beast at 140 so we can accurately hypothesise how that fight would have gone. Collazo has always been a welter so we can only speculate but I thought his style was simply troubling for Ricky.

Wow..again, I need not say anything. I just hope everybody can see the immense irony in your post
Feel free to call me out on that other board if you have an issue instead of crying on my thread making irrelevant rants.
We're trying to have a discussion over here which has so far remained adult and on-topic. Thanks matey!
