He didnt just win a title. He gave the two best and undefeated fighters in his weight their closest run fights and was in some peoples eyes robbed.

George has done nothing. Hes failed at his first attempt at a title, hes failed at his second. Its only a matter of time before he fails at his third.

DeGale is ok but has a loss to Groves and his career seems to be going nowhere. Neither he nor Groves have any impressive "name" wins.

I liked watching Reid, he was a very good fighter when on form

he was well past his best when he fought lacey, I think he would have beaten him in his prime

I also think calzaghe wasn't at his best when he fought reid and the fight would have been much more comfortable if he had

I think the most probably result of Groves v Reid - prime for prime is Groves by decision

Everyone with the remotest bit of power has hurt Groves, so I doubt it.

You are like a dog with a bone @ross just leave it. Reid was not a monster puncher he was muscle bound and slow.

He can punch. He hurt Calzaghe, Joe has said that Reid is a heavy puncher. Froch said at the time it was the hardest hed ever been hit. Reid also dropped Ottke. No one else dropped Ottke.

Can't remember Joe and Froch saying that and I am sure Ottke was a slip.
