Maybe he will show a big improvement under Roach second time. I think he'll need too.

Barrera can't be anymore shot than Gomez was and is a hundred times better. If Barrera turns up to win Khan's had it.
Yeah but i don't think the Gomez fight was particularly close nor do i believe that Kahn was in any trouble....maybe other than the body shot he took. There wasn't much in the knockdown...even though Duke MacKenzie tried to make out Kahn was on queer street.

I just think he's got Barrera at the right time. I know all about Kahn's weaknesses and frailties but i still think he has enough about to him to see off Barrera at this stage of his career. Kahn has all the advantages apart from experience, and the speed advantage will be the killer.

I was one of the few that called the PAC-ODLH fight correctly and i see a similar thing happening...albeit slightly more competitive.

I'm glad some on here think it will be close though. Should help Sky with their PPV sales.

I'm a Saddo Prediction comp champion. Fact. Put that in yer pipe sucker.

If you think this is so easy for Khan you must think he's way above Brit/Euro class? Recently getting knocked sparkout by a fellow prospect in 54 seconds would suggest otherwise

Fenster you are forgetting that Prescott is a bigger puncher than Naz or Pac. FACT

That punch would have created a tsunmai like wave that would have wiped out New York if Khan hadn't manfully put his face in the way and saved us all.

I don't believe in Brit/Euro class as an indicator for Kahn's ability. He's such a mixed bag.

It's a vague expression to say somebody is Euro class. Graham Earl would have surely been classed as euro class, yet Kahn destroyed him. There are certain fights at that level that would be easy for Kahn and certain fights that would be hard (Thaxton, Romanov etc...)

Kahn is just going to be way faster than MAB. That will be the difference.

Kahn has world class qualities and Brit level weaknesses. Unfortunatley for Barrera, in this kind of fight it will be Kahn's world class qualities that will be too much for him imo.

I said he's got domestic level weaknesses and his punch resistance would fall into this category.

But if you're only going to look at where he has been hurt you should also look at where he has been exceptional offensively....which he has been on numerous occasions.

Then you have to weigh it all up against the strengths of his opponent. Barrera was a very good fighter but Kahn isn't in against the prime version of Barrera. He's up against the Barrera who is probably on par with the Castillo that Hatton fought in 07. It's not a completely shot fighter, but he's also not at his best.

Throw in all the physical advantages that Kahn has and barring Barrera hitting the jackpot, the most likely outcome is a comprehensive victory imo. That's what i'm basing my prediction on. I'm not ignoring Kahn's obvious weaknesses, i just honestly don't see this Barrera being quick and decisive enough to expolit them.

Thing is Khan will have to engage Barrera st some point and i can see it now....
Barrera grins and batters the f*ck out of him.
Khans way, way out of his depth here i'm afraid.

ono, I agree it is doable for Khan if he sticks out the jab and runs and then grabs on for dear life when Barrera gets in close, however, I don't think he is mature enough to stick to any plan for 36 minutes, let alone in his first proper big fight, against the biggest name he has faced, with the crowd against him (check all the boards).

    He falters and gets stopped.
