I said he's got domestic level weaknesses and his punch resistance would fall into this category.

But if you're only going to look at where he has been hurt you should also look at where he has been exceptional offensively....which he has been on numerous occasions.

Then you have to weigh it all up against the strengths of his opponent. Barrera was a very good fighter but Kahn isn't in against the prime version of Barrera. He's up against the Barrera who is probably on par with the Castillo that Hatton fought in 07. It's not a completely shot fighter, but he's also not at his best.

Throw in all the physical advantages that Kahn has and barring Barrera hitting the jackpot, the most likely outcome is a comprehensive victory imo. That's what i'm basing my prediction on. I'm not ignoring Kahn's obvious weaknesses, i just honestly don't see this Barrera being quick and decisive enough to expolit them.

Thing is Khan will have to engage Barrera st some point and i can see it now....
Barrera grins and batters the f*ck out of him.
Khans way, way out of his depth here i'm afraid.

ono, I agree it is doable for Khan if he sticks out the jab and runs and then grabs on for dear life when Barrera gets in close, however, I don't think he is mature enough to stick to any plan for 36 minutes, let alone in his first proper big fight, against the biggest name he has faced, with the crowd against him (check all the boards).

    He falters and gets stopped.

I agree it's sink or swim time for him.

I think he'll do it and do it well. We'll see anyway.

This is Khans problem and always has been.
He likes to mix it and have a tear up too much ala Joe Calzaghe.
Thing is Joe had a granite chin and Khan doesn't and never will have.
He can't help himself when he wants to crowd please.
Inexperience..? (maybe) and your right we will see soon enough but unless Roach has had him on some sort of "Chin Gym" or seriously and dramatically got him fighting differently and to a plan that he'll stick too i don't see him lasting past the 5th round.
