Of course when that happens i'll give it ten minutes before a 'Barrera is shot' thread appears on here.

Khan will get zero credit for this win from a lot of people because the fight won't even be close.
Sounds about right. Every British fighter who defeats a big name is never given credit by the worldwide public, they just automatically label the opponent as shot or overrated. Tsyzu, Castillo, Lacy, Hopkins, etc all come to mind in recent history, among many others.

I think Khan is also underrated by just about everyone who call thereself a hardcore boxing fan... I see Khan winning by stoppage or UD, although more likely a easy UD.

Khan is no way on the level of a Ricky Hatton nor a Joe Calzaghe though and those are your reference points. Calzaghe had been a champ years before the Lacy fight. And Hatton had fought far better opposition than Khan too. Neither Calzaghe nor Hatton had lost prior to their major fights. Could you imagine them two stopped in 54 seconds against...who exactly? Khan is a fraud and I pity the British public buying into this shit. The best thing for everyone is if an old Barrera stomps on him. And he most likely will.

well since you mention it, KT was past it as were Castillo and Hopkins, Lacy was green.

But many younger fighters have been fed older fighters as a test of how they are developing. It shouldn't be considered the same as beating someone in their prime which some fans seem to think it is.
