ono, I agree it is doable for Khan if he sticks out the jab and runs and then grabs on for dear life when Barrera gets in close, however, I don't think he is mature enough to stick to any plan for 36 minutes, let alone in his first proper big fight, against the biggest name he has faced, with the crowd against him (check all the boards).

    He falters and gets stopped.

I agree it's sink or swim time for him.

I think he'll do it and do it well. We'll see anyway.

This is Khans problem and always has been.
He likes to mix it and have a tear up too much ala Joe Calzaghe.
Thing is Joe had a granite chin and Khan doesn't and never will have.
He can't help himself when he wants to crowd please.
Inexperience..? (maybe) and your right we will see soon enough but unless Roach has had him on some sort of "Chin Gym" or seriously and dramatically got him fighting differently and to a plan that he'll stick too i don't see him lasting past the 5th round.

Do you not wonder why Barrera is fighting in gyms in China against opponents who have been ko'd quicker by Wes Ferguson, Robert Guerrero and Jason Litzau?

I know why he fought in China. I know why he's fighting full stop.

Litzau is still 19-0 which is more than can be said for Khan. I can use boxrec as well.

You say that like it is a crime to use it.

It doesn't take away from the fact that he is in fact fighting against complete bums at this stage of his career....regardless of how many people use Boxrec as a resource (how it's an any different from any other resource baffles me).

As far as I can see Barrera is going up a weight and building into it. Khan has always fought bums and lost to one in a minute. This is most likely Khan's meltdown time. And I can't wait!!

It wasn't the fact that you used it, it was the way the names were dropped in as if we would have any idea who they were.

Ok. His first fight a new weight coming out of retirement. Who would have been suitable?
