Martin Power became the British bantamweight champion tonight in London, England with a twelve round decision win over Dale Robinson. Power got off to an advantageous start as Robinson suffered what might have otherwise been a fight ending cut. But Robinson proved his mettle and fought on and even decked Power late in the fight, only to be outpointed by a score of 116-113 on the lone judges' scorecard (the referee).
