Top Rank Boxing: Prospect Mike Lee Added To February 26 Fight Card

Notre Dame Boxing Champion Mike Lee will return to The Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, February 26th.

The 23 year old Lee will face rugged Denver based veteran Pablo Gomez in a four round light heavyweight battle as the featured undercard bout of the Showtime televised Lightweight World Championship between Miguel Acosta and Brandon Rios.

Lee is currently preparing for battle with legendary trainer Ronnie Shields in Houston, Texas. The February 26th bout marks the one year anniversary of Lee working with Shields.

This will be Lee’s second appearance at The Palms Casino and Resort, having brutally stopped Alex Rivera with a devastating body shot in the second round this past September 11th.

Undefeated as a top prospect with a record of 3-0-0 with two knockouts, Lee returns to action following a sensational first round knockout of Keith Debow on November 13th on the undercard to boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao’s world title bout at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

As has become the custom at Lee’s professional bouts, a very large contingent of Notre Dame alumni and Chicagoland supporters will be in attendance on February 26th in Las Vegas.

Advance tickets to the February 26th event may be purchased by calling 877-530-4269 during business hours or after 5pm at 630-400-6380.

Lee graduated from the University Of Notre Dame in 2009 at the “top of his class”, with a degree in finance. He is a native of Wheaton, Illinois and a graduate of Benet Academy.

After winning the Chicago Golden Gloves, Lee was signed by boxing’s premier promotional company, Top Rank Incorporated.
