Detroit fighter and boxing legend Thomas "The Hitman" Hearns insists that he is not finished with boxing and he intends to be back in the ring fighting once again this year. Hearns is set to make yet another comeback, this time against a fighter named John Long, who once lost to former WBU middleweight champion of England, Anthony Farnell. Hearns, who once participated in legendary ring wars with "Sugar" Ray Leonard and Marvin Hagler was last in a professional boxing ring five years ago when he was forced to retire due to an injured ankle after less than two rounds of action against Uriah Grant. Before that in 1999, Hearns bored a British audience senseless with a nondescript performance against former cruiserweight champion Nate Miller. Hearns will be back in the ring, aged forty-six on July 30 in Detroit.
