More Friday Night Fights.

At the Mohegan Sun Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut last night, An intriguing welterweight clash was fought between David Estrada and Chris Smith. Estrada was the busier fighter throughout and his pressur paid off when he was able to put Smith down in the seventh round. Matters finally came to and end when Smith went down for the final time in the eleventh round. Estrada moves his record to eighteen wins and one loss.

Middleweight Raymond Joval moved his record to thirty-three wins against two losses after beating Rodriguies Moungo in two rounds.

Lou DiBella's noted light middleweight prospect Sechew "Iron Horse" Powell won an eight round decision over Patrick Thompson. Powell remains unbeaten.

Emanuel Augustus returned to the ring with an impressive performance over former Ricky Hatton opponent Dillon Carew. Augustus got the win when Carew would not come out for the ninth round.

Yory Boy Campas, a former light middleweight champion of the world lost a decision to Eric Regan in California. Most scores were 120-108 for Regan against Campas who not long ago shared a ring with Oscar de la Hoya.

Former participant in the 2004 Olympics Andre Berto scored a four round decision win over Joseph Benjamin. Berto remains unbeaten.
