European Super Middle Champ Karo Murat reportedly defends the title against Italian Lorenzo Di Giacomo, a former European Union champ and European two-time challenger at middleweight, on May 30 at a site to be announced in Germany.
P3 Boxing have been forced to cancel European Union Junior Welter ruler Giuseppe Lauri´s defence against Juho Tolppola on April 18 as the Finn has been battling with illness for over a week.
The show, set for the Kiisahall in Helsinki, still go ahead with Russian junior welter Dennis Shafikov and former European middle champ Amin Asikainen headlining. Also on the bill is Swedish heavy Attila Levin, Finnish heavy Jarno Rosberg and Norwegian junior lightweight Andreas Evensen.
Universum have added a third title fight to the show in Bremen May 2 as super middles Lukas Wilaschek and Dimitri Sartison clash for the vacant German title.
It´s also an internal Spotlight Boxing eliminator. Sartison has looked pretty sharp since fighting WBA king Mikkel Kessler in June of last year and is a firm favourite to win in my eyes.
It´s official: it will be Maselino Mas oe that challenges WBO Super Middle champ Karoly Balzsay April 25 in Krefeld. The show is headlined by Felix Sturm defending the WBA crown against Japanese challenger Koji Sato.
