Should the Khan/Barrera fight have been called a no contest?

You can't really please everybody...

Boxer quits and he's criticized being a quitter...

Boxer fights on and he's criticized for being too brave for his own good...

Referee/Doctor stops the fight and criticized doing it too early...

Referee/Doctor didn't stop the fight and criticized being incompetent...

Only a few had called it correctly on the right time... Well, this is boxing... and surely you'll still encounter more of these situations in the future...

I hope I never see a fighter with an injury like that allowed to go on EVER again. It doesn't matter who they are, and it's not about quitting or showing heart, it's about doing the right thing and looking after the safety of the fighters.
