More and more sounds as if they are aiming to air this afternoon or early evening to lead into Danas Ufc card that same night. Promotion has given us no clear indicators thus far but if this match truly merits "historic"...we all know the deal...it definitely cannot/should not be a glorified undercard for the same company's other venture. The whole conflict of interest will be ongoing with Dana and Tko me thinks. Good news is they brought back Kellerman to announce for it. I always liked Max. Also some Ufc announcer who likes to shout a lot, but we'll see what he knows about boxing I suppose.

Well... well... well. Here we are a little more than a month away. As expected, the hype is ratcheting up. The Hype Machine is in full swing, with Dana White even (stupidly) calling it "one of the biggest fights ever."
Right, bud.
By the time fight time comes around, both casuals and Canelo groupies will barely be able to contain their excitement over what The Hype Machine is managing to portray as a genuine challenge to the ginger-haired diva.
Never mind that this is STILL basically a 3-weight division leap by the sacrificial lamb... er... by Crawford.
Never mind that Crawford has had exactly ONE WHOLE FIGHT at 154, and failed to put his opponent away.
Never mind that Ginger has made a career of ducking the true knockout dangers to his record, and feasted on miniature fighters with big names and deluded aspirations.
Never mind any of that.
The Hype Machine has done, and continues doing, it's job.![]()
