The weigh in for this Saturday’s Hunky Dorys Fight Night: Big Bang Theory featuring a historic first ever all-Irish European title clash takes place at the University Sports Arena in Limerick this Friday (November 5th) at 2pm.
European title protagonists Willie “Big Bang” Casey and Paul Hyland will step on the scales ahead of their clash for the vacant European Super Bantamweight title.
All the undercard fighters will also weigh in including Cork based Cuban sensation Luis Garcia ahead of his bout against former two time World Champion Byron Mitchell.
The scales will also be put to the test by heavyweights Martin “Iron Man” Rogan and Mike “The Rebel” Perez with both men featuring in separate heavyweight bouts.
Irish title contenders Anthony Fitzgerald and Lee Murtagh will also weigh in ahead of their scheduled clash with Fitzgerald’s Irish Super Middleweight title on the line while prospects Alan Donnellan, Brendan Fitzpatrick, Gavin Prunty and Jon Fogg will all tip the scales alongside their opponents to complete the weigh in for the 9 fight card.
Doors open on Saturday at 6pm with live coverage of the Hunky Dorys Fight Night on RTÉ Two from 9:15pm. Live coverage will also be available world wide with a live stream available on www.rte.ie from 9:15pm (GMT).
