The Natural Larry The Natural Ekundayo Headlines York Hall Show October 11

In just under two weeks “Time for the Natural” is being staged at York Hall, Bethnal Green, headed by the first Nigerian boxer ever to headline a professional boxing show at the iconic London venue.

The former Prizefighter winner and seven-fight undefeated Larry “The Natural” Ekundayo has his first title fight when he takes on Stanislav Nenkov for the International Masters Welterweight title on Saturday 11th October.

After winning Prizefighter – Ekundayo’s career stalled due to various personal and professional issues. After a year out Ekundayo looked impressive in a win over tough Samet Hyuseinov. Now Ekundayo goes for his first 10 round title on a stacked card.

Chief joint support sees “The Green Machine” Kevin Greenwood compete for his first title when he challenges for the International Masters Super-Middleweight title against Nikolay Kolyandov from Bulgaria.
“Saint” George Jupp shares joint support when he defends his International Masters Super-Featherweight title.

We are delighted to unveil one of the hottest Cruiserweight prospects in the country in Jose “The Look” Lopes. Lopes is trained by Don Charles who predicts that “The Look” will one day capture world honours. Lopes has a 4 round contest on his debut.

Sohail Ahmad is developing into one of the most improved light-welterweights out there with the help of trainer Rod Julian. Sohail is unbeaten in 4 and comes off a sensational 2 round knockout against Graham Fearn. Ahmad takes on tough Kristian Dochev from Bulgaria.

“The Pexican” Johnny Garton makes his comeback after suffering a defeat against Sam Eggington in Prizefighter. Johnny takes on Vasil Vasilev from Bulgaria. Martin Hillman has won 2 from 3 and this likeable character takes on Ryan Hanson in his fourth paid outing in a 4 round Super-Featherweight bout.

Heavyweight Ali Adams makes his return after a 2 year break from the sport. Ali has a 6 round International Heavyweight contest. Finally the three fighting brothers from London – the Upton’s – are all fighting on the show.

Paul, Sonny and Anthony are all trained by Ricky Hatton, who will be in their corners and all look to maintain momentum in their careers. Paul and Sonny are boxing at Light-Middleweight and Anthony at Light-Welterweight.
