At the BEC Arena (Bowlers) Manchester, Saturday night, a battle between two Middleton boxers saw Matthew Ryan win the BBBofC Central Area Middleweight Title by outpointing Darryl Sharp (98-93) in an all action contest over ten rounds. Using the left jab and surviving a cut right brow against a fearless opponent – resulted in victory number 15 (of 17 contests) for Ryan.
The Bonfire Night weekend event promoted by Black Flash Promotions in association with British Boxers and the Collyhurst and Moston Gym featured thirteen contests in all.
