Cestus Management’s undefeated super middleweight dynamo Donovan George needed just seventy-four seconds to discard Cory Phelps.
The fight took place this past Thursday night on the undercard of the Hasim Rahman-Tauras Sykes contest from Rochester, New York and was promoted by Top Rank, who is the promoter of Donovan George.
“Da’Bomb” went into the ring and simply plowed through the “Cobra” Cory Phelps, detonating vicious combination of bombs to the head and body.
The contest was quickly halted as the “Cobra” turned into a sitting duck with George unloading his cannons on him and finishing him off with a straight right hand to the chin. It was another exciting victory for the Chicago native.
Mike Michael, who is Cestus Management’s chief adviser, said, “I was celebrating my birthday that night (Thursday) and Don (George) made it even better with another electrifying win. I telling everyone that this kid can really fight and he truly has dynamite in both fists.”
Michael continued, “As always we at Cestus would like to thank our promoter Mr. Bob Arum and Top Rank for the amazing job they are doing in promoting and developing Donovan. When you combine a management company like Cestus with a powerhouse promoter like Top Rank, the possibilities are endless.”
