    Boxing is back at the Forum in Inglewood, CA and the historic inaugural brawl on May 17 will feature four-division world champion and Méxican icon Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez battling former junior welterweight world champion and the pride of Colorado “Mile High” Mike Alvarado.

    Márquez (55-7-1, 40 KOs), of México City, a longtime Forum stalwart who never lost a fight at the legendary boxing venue, and Alvarado (34-2, 23 KOs), of Denver, CO., will collide in a 12-round WBO welterweight title elimination bout on Saturday, May 17. (more…)

  • Fury Backing Fellow Traveller Ward To Unseat IBF Champ Hall

    Tyson Fury is backing Martin Ward to make history on Saturday by becoming the first Traveller to win a world title.

    County Durham bruiser Ward challenges IBF Bantamweight king Stuart Hall at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena. And unbeaten heavyweight Fury is convinced his fellow Traveller can turn on the style and relieve Ward of the belt.

    Multiple world champion, Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (31-2-1, 18 KOs), who’s co-managed by Bob Santos and Luis Decubas Jr., has signed an agreement with world renowned adviser, Al Haymon.

    Puerto Rican twin brothers, Carlos and Juan Velasquez, are set to fight this Saturday at The Myth in Maplewood, Minnesota. Both fighters will campaign at super-featherweight in scheduled six round bouts.

  • Bujaj vs. Barragan Now For USNBC Cruiserweight Crown

    Stivens Bujaj (11-0, 8 KOs) and Victor Barragan (12-7, 3 KOs), a fight that was just announced two days ago, added an intriguing twist today to the Battle at the Boat 95 main event going on this Saturday at the Emerald Queen Casino. The fight will now be fought for the vacant WBC United States Cruiserweight Title (USNBC).

    The belt was previously held by Michael Seals (17-0, 13 KOs), who fought for the vacant title once in 2012 and has since gone down in weight to fight in the light heavyweight division leaving the title vacated once again. (more…)

  • Solis, Thompson Hit The Scales For Showdown In Turkey

    Cuban Olympic gold medalist Odlanier Solis and US veteran Tony “The Tiger” Thompson collide in Tekirdag, Turkey for the vacant WBC international heavyweight championship.

    At the official weigh-in Solis brought 257 lbs. (116.7 kg) to the scale while Thompson weighed in at 266.5 lbs (120.9 kg).

    Tony “The Tiger” Thompson arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, this afternoon for his WBC International Championship bout against 2004 Olympic gold medalist Odlanier Solis this Saturday, March 22 in Tekirdag.
