The Midlands Area Council Boxing Awards Dinner is an annual event which has been running for over twenty years. This year's event will be taking place at the Eaton Hotel in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England on Saturday, September 5, 2009.
The Midlands Area is the only Area Council of the British Boxing Board of Control that holds such an event, and does so to recognise the achievements of boxers over the previous twelve months and also those from previous decades.
There are also special presentations to those who have been active within the sport over a considerable number of years.
Tickets are priced at £35.00, which includes a three course meal and live entertainment.
