Welter Prospect Mora Signs With Silverhawk Boxing

By Boxing Press June 8th, 2006 All Press Releases

Silverhawk Boxing has signed unbeaten welterweight prospect Adrian Mora (15-0-1, 8 KOs) to an exclusive promotional contract. Mora, 27, fights out of Thornton, Colorado. He already holds a win against former champion Steve "The Mongoose" Quinonez, 33-fight winner Roberto Valenzuela (DEC8) and veteran Shawn Simmons. "We're very happy to add an undefeated prospect like Adrian Mora to our stable of fighters," Silverhawk president Dennis Rider said. "Adrian has tremendous upside and we believe that, now promoted by Silverhawk and trained by Buddy McGirt, he can develop into a champion."

Mora, rated 34 by the World Boxing Council, is managed by Rider Boxing and trained by Buddy McGirt. Adrian also is rated No. 9 by the USBA and No. 14 by the NABO.

In addition to Mora, Silverhawk Boxing's growing stable of world-caliber fighters, all based in Vero Beach (FL), include two-time world lightweight champion Stevie "Lil' But Bad" John! ston, No. 5 world rated light heavyweight Prince Badi "The Boxing Prince" Ajamu, former IBF light heavyweight title-holder William Guthrie, NBA World & CABOFE heavyweight champion Sherman "The Caribbean Tank" Williams, unbeaten heavyweight Leo "Paco" Nolan, world-rated super middleweight Rubin "Hollywood" Williams, middleweight Aaron "Homicide" Mitchell, junior middleweight Eric "Murder" Mitchell, and cruiserweight prospect Brandon "The Havoc" Harris.
