Australian Jarrod Fletcher won the World Boxing Association International welterweight title after defeating the Ukranian Max Bursak, in Monte Carlo last Saturday

Fletcher dominated the action and got the approval of the judges, who scored the contest 115-111, 115-111 and 114-112.
The Fletcher vs. Bursak fight was an undercard of the tenth title defense of Middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin, against Osumanu Adama.

Last Saturday, Cecilia Braekhus, the World Boxing Association welterweight champion, retained her belt defeating Miryam Lamare, by unanimous decision in Frederikshavn, Dinamarca.

The scorecards were 100-89, 100-89, and 100-90 for the world champion, who made the twelfth title defense.
The Norwegian based Colombian won the belt in 2009. Braekhus is still undefeated after 24 fights.
