However, Echols has also challenged for world super middleweight honors against Australia's Anthony Mundine, a fight in which he lost a unanimous decision. The fight would certainly be a welcome alternative to Calzaghe's mandatory obligation to Mario Veit, a fighter whom he has already defeated.
