Exciting world rated super middleweight Allan "Sweetness" Green returns to the ring for the first time since undergoing major abdominal surgery to battle three-time title challenger Sherwin Davis on October 19th at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK.
Green is coming off an impressive first round knockout victory over former champion Darrel Woods in July. Previous to that, Green made his HBO debut in losing a hard fought decision to power-punching contender Edison Miranda.
The Buffalo Run Casino provides a very familiar venue for Green, who is 6-0, 6 KO's there. Included amongst those fights were Green's thrilling wins over current Contender 3 stars Donnie McCrary and Jaidon Codrington.
Davis, Indianapolis, IN, is best known for spoiling the undefeated record of 2000 United States Olympian Dante Craig via third round TKO.
Green, Tulsa, OK, brings a record of 24-1, 17 KO's into the fight. Davis comes in with a mark of 18-5, 12 KO's.
The Green-Davis matchup headlines a 7 bout card that will also feature the professional debut of the brother of former world title challenger, Zahir Raheem, Wahib Raheem, as well as Native American knockout artist, "The Commanche Boy" George Tahdooahnippah (8-0 7 KO's).
The event is being presented by Holden Productions. For ticket information, call the Box Office at 918-542-7140 - Ext. 2200.
