Saturday night in Montreal, Quebec in Canada, middleweight contender Joachim Alcine restated his claim as the dominant Canadian middleweight fighter by stopping the much more seasoned Carlos Bojorquez in seven rounds. Taking place at the Montreal Casino, it was a fight card that showcased several of quebec's leading talents. Before we come to the other results, it must be noted that Alcine was impressive and continually slashed at Bojorquez with quick and powerful punches. Bojorquez decided that after seven rounds of such torment, he did not want any more and signaled Alcine's twenty-second win of an undefeated career thus far.
On the undercard, another exciting middleweight, Jean Pascal of Laval in Quebec, short-circuited Jesse Londo in a single round. When asked where he was by a doctor, Londo had no idea, such was the authority of Pascal's performance.
Heavyweight David Cadieux also knocked out his opponent in the first round. after a huge shot, William Cook fell to the canvas in a delayed-reaction to the punch. Cadieux earns his fourth career win against one defeat.
