Very confusing. I do know that he was tested before the Morales fight, you know, the one in which he lost, he first said he blamed the blood test, he later blames the loss to his gloves. Now he claims he should no have to take a blood test because Floyd is bigger than him? That is the most outrageous excuse I have heard. He wont take the blood test not because Floyd is so much bigger (which he really isn't) he wont take the test because he knows he will come up dirty. Manny has contradicted himself plenty as to why he does not want to test. I smell a cheat.
I can't see the video for copyright reasons, but if that is the excuse that Manny made then shame on him. He is out there doing lame interviews with idiots that simply won't call him out properly on his shenanigans. If he makes a weak answer I would like someone to follow up on that and challenge him, to show his excuses for what they really are....that they are bollocks! But no, Manny gets the sugarcoated treatment from the media because he can smile like a pixie and has a following.

Whenever Manny speaks about the blood testing it's very hard to swallow, but I think you have to put at least a good part of it down to the language barrier. I mean if english was his first language, he could be guilty as sin and still do a MUCH better job of skirting the question or providing some excuse than he has done. I do feel it is very likely he is juicing, but on some level I don't think it's fair at all to base it upon his response to questions about the issue. It would be just as difficult for him to clear himself through words were he in fact perfectly clean and there was something else stopping the fight from being signed behind the scenes.

Didn't Manny volunteer to be tested up to one month before the fight and then immediately afterward? Not sure why that wouldn't be acceptable to PBF, etc... I DO know from working with Philipino people over manny years that they are a proud and rather superstitious people and I for one will give Manny the benefit as he has never been accused of this until PBF opened his mouth....I'm sure PBF would NEVER try to get into Manny's head by demanding blood tests up until fight time....So again, why is it unacceptable to test up until 1 month prior and right after the fight? Has anyone put this question to PBF?

because someone with experience could cycle around any date if they knew which date the test was on.

What good is taking a test after the fight? The test is supposed to prevent cheaters from competing.

What if Manny took something then went on to seriously injure Mayweather in their fight, then tests positive after the fight? All they'll do is change the ruling to a no contest & suspend/ban Pacquiao. Meanwhile Mayweather & his family have to deal with the pain inflicted by a cheater.

We don't need another Luis Resto/Billy Collins situation again.

Now you're being overtly dramatic. To my knowledge no one has died in the ring because the other guy was on PEDs. PEDs and loading up your gloves are different.

BTW no one has talked about the Mayweathers wanting the Olympic style drug testing in the 1st place because they believed that Manny is on some special Flip drug that can make you invincible to .38 and .45 caliber bullets that Flips used in war and kept coming forward.

In their own words, it's not a steroid but a special drug that the Flip military secretly has. It's a special super human drugs Flips have. They lost all credibility right there.

Wait wait wait...now you're assuming I agree with Team Mayweather's reasoning. I do not.

I do not believe Pacquiao is on any type of drugs. I'm not even advocating taking the tests in my post.

All i'm saying is a test AFTER the fight is pointless because it could allow a fighter to be fighting with additional help. The tests, any type of drug test (blood or urine, i dont care) should be taken before the fight.

It's not fair to the opponent & it is dangerous. The first thing on the mind of the commission should be the health & safety of the fighters.

Maybe nobody has killed anyone with the help of PEDs or whatever, but my whole point is let's keep it that way. Let's not take chances.

Sorry, your way off base...You could NEVER "cycle" around a month time frame and not be caught, post fight. This is all a psychological ploy by Floyd and his team when they heard that Manny was superstitious about giving blood. They could test up until one month, then monitor his weight gain or even do regular urine tests, with a blood test after the fight. All of which Manny is cool with, don't be so played by PBF.

I didn't know this. Manny went further to 24 days before the fight.
