By Boxing Press September 26th, 2006 All Press Releases

British Light Middleweight Champion Jamie Moore, 24-3 (17), faces his biggest challenge to date on Friday, 29 September 2006 when the hardened southpaw clashes with the massive Irish Middleweight Champion Matthew Macklin, 17-1 (13), on a Maloney Promotion at the sold out GH Carnall Centre in Davyhulme, Manchester, England.

The bitter rivals will come face to face at the final press conference at the Lancashire County Cricket Club in Old Trafford, Manchester on Wednesday, 27 September 2006 where promoter Frank Maloney begins the countdown to what has become the most anticipated all-British showdown this year.

More than just the Britain title is at stake between Jamie Moore and Matthew Macklin as the two tangle for bragging rights to the UK capital of boxing, Manchester.

A full undercard of quality boxing supports the main event with welterweight Ali Nuumbembe, light welter Craig Watson, light middle Mark Thompson, lightweight Chris Pacey, light middle Brett Flournoy and more all scheduled for action on the bill.

The Jamie Moore vs. Matthew Macklin British Championship fight card takes place on Friday, 29 September at the GH Carnall Leisure Centre, located on Kingsway Park, Davyhulme, Manchester, England, M41 7FJ. Sky Sports will televise live on SS1 starting at 22:00. For additional information contact Jeff Lewington on 0844 477 6466 or log onto www.frankmaloney.com
